    1. The Taj Mahal – Agra, India

Described as “a teardrop on the cheek of eternity” by the great Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore, it stands majestically on an elevated marble platform on the shores of the serene river Yamuna. It is a historical monument built by the emperor Shah Jahan for his 4th wife Mumtaz after she expired. It still stands as a symbol of love by a husband to his wife.
Around a total of 20,000 people from India and Central Asia are said to have worked on the building. Experts were brought in from faraway Europe to produce the delicate marble screens and pietra dura (marble inlay work) made with thousands of semiprecious stones. The Taj was designated a World Heritage Site in 1983 and looks as pristine today as when it was first constructed – though it underwent a huge restoration project in the early 20th century. It is open from dawn to dusk through Saturdays to Thursdays.

    2. The Great Wall – China

According to Mao Zedong “He who has not climbed the Great Wall is not a true man”. By this statement he tends to define the greatness of the grandiose structure.
The Great Wall of China is a living example of China’s greatest engineering feat. It spreads unevenly from its disseminated Manchurian remains in Liáoníng province, to wind-swept debris in the Gobi desert and faint traces in the unforgiving sands of Xīnjiāng. The Great Wall can be credibly visited in many north China provinces. The wall is not just one continuous unit; in fact, the structure exists in portions scattered with natural barricades (such as steep mountains) that do not require further supports.

    3. Siem Reap, Cambodia

Siem Reap has been called the “perfect destination” for novice traveler to Asia. This capital city in northwestern Cambodia is easily accessible and has lots of lures and fascinations to unfold on each corner. With one of the largest religious complexes in the world along with the 12th century Angkor Thom royal city; you are truly convinced to visit this scintillating destination. The Cambodian Cultural Village also ups our historical knowledge with a briefing on national history.

    4. The Victoria Peak – Hong Kong

Standing at 552m, Victoria Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island. The Peak is also one of the most visited spots by tourists in Hong Kong. Far-reaching views of the lively city, lush greens, easy but spectacular walks – all reachable in just eight minutes if you travel by Hong Kong’s earliest form of transport, the 125-year-old gravity-defying Peak Tram.
With the almost vertical tram journey you actually feel as though you are flying beside high-rise buildings and tall trees. However be fast enough to get into it else you will have to travel in the tram standing, but that also adds on to the adventure. Once you reach the Peak, you truly feel the misty clouds pass near you. With all these you also have a shopping mall and a wax museum where you can pose with some historic villains, or your favorite movie stars. Everyone from Hitler to Ryan Gosling is here!

    5. The Gobi Desert - Mongolia

The Gobi is the ultimate place to a person who loves utmost adventure and wants to have a complete break from the telecom world. You practically fall off the radar and can do crazy things, as your mind desires. The intense desolation and terrible isolation is the most important factor that draws adventurers to its fold.
However this is one of Mongolia's most visited regions. Massive sand dunes, ice-filled valleys, dinosaur fossils and the camel treks ensure that you enjoy each and every moment out of the normal sophisticated life style.
